    1. And now for something completely different, as the saying goes. This little story began as a tongue in cheek blog post some time ago and due to the feedback, I began to think about writing a little novella. So, after much deliberation, procrastination and a lot of red wine, my little vampire novella is now out and ready to be bitten to pieces.

    2. A spoof on the vampire craze? A hilarious comedy? If you read My Take Away Vampire as a comedic vampire spoof, then you will absolutely love Derek Haines novella. The vampire is Agatha and the comedy comes from Reggie, who is her botched vampire attempt. There is Mr. Fipps, a ghost in the cemetery where Agatha and others sleep for about 300 years. The other characters you simply must have the fun of discovering yourself. I recommend reading this amusing story especially if you laugh at the zany [...]

    3. Forever teenage vampire Agatha's favourite hunting ground is the brightly-lit interior of McDonald's. Flashing lots of flesh, she finds easy and willing prey; her preference is male virgins and so she dresses in the manner she thinks will most entice them, i.e. a little teenage tramp.I finished this story in one sitting; it's easy to read and very well written but I would have liked to learn more about Agatha and how she survived the past 300 years. There's also a lot of language, too much for m [...]

    4. This novella was great fun to read and the title is brilliant. Agatha and Mr Fipps are delightful individuals and as for MacDonalds, wellI would recommend it to everyone.

    5. A short vampire story that shows vampire in a new light for the genre.Agatha Grace is over 300 hundred years old. Stuck in her teenage body, she has learned to adapt and currently spends her time at her favorite modern hunting ground, McDonald's.Finding a safe place to hide from the sun would seem like a challenge but not for Agatha. Her home is the cemetery where she woke up after being turned. She's not alone in there. It's seems that the dead aren't as gone as we think.Gang banger Reggie is a [...]

    6. I didn't like this. The vampire, despite being 300 years old, is portrayed as being too young in my opinion. I found it slightly creepy, and not in a vampire story way! Perhaps I should have stuck with it to the end, but my Kindle has many other books I want to try.Of course, YMMV, but it wasn't for me

    7. Great bookIt could have a lot more pages and not such a sad ending but hey I really like Derek Haines next time I will buy his bigger books this novella was really good for it being a novella with bite you won't expect the outcome I didn't. :)
