    1. I would give this book a 3.5. I read this for fun. As the title says each picture in this book is supposed to be "some kind of ghostly appearance" Whether it is a light that looks ghostly. or an image that appears to be a person who may have died. mysterious etchings in anywhere from food or a wall or anything else. One section are "famous pictures" that have been shown to the world. There a picture on one page and then the other page describes the picture. and each pretty much weigh in on if th [...]

    2. This book was like a humorless joke book with bad photos. It's obvious that they are fake and that people see things and faces in different objects. Over and over you read how the photographer and anyone in the photo was supposedly alone or you read that there was no information available. People do lie and you would think that such popular ghost photos would be seen if possible by someone who knows the people in a photo or something. Isn't it funny how ghosts can show up in photographs as light [...]

    3. Books like this are interesting not so much for what's written. Most of the entries are simply a summary of the facts of the pictures they accompany, along with some possible explanations. The true stars of this book are the pictures themselves. Whether or not you belief in the paranormal, these pictures are presented as the evidence. The reader is then left to draw their own conclusions about the pictures, whether they be too vague to rule one way or the other, too obvious to be real evidence o [...]

    4. Apart from too many clearly fake photographs with well maybe what to you think after the explanation the only problem is that when putting together the best of the previous books they simply cut and pasted the articles which meant that when it refers back to previous photographs sometimes they are not there and usually the page numbers referenced are wrong something a good editor or sub editor should have caught.

    5. This was an enjoyable book for the most part, but I found it to be a little lacking in the story area. My favorite aspect of any ghost story is exactly that, the STORY. This book dove more into the technical aspect of the photos (type of camera, filter, etc) and the provenance of the photos, rather than giving you a good spooky story to go with the image. That being said, the pictures were still intriguing and even a little unsettling, which is perfect for this time of year.

    6. In my opinion, these look easily superimposed. Thought I might see something mysterious, instead I saw someone grasping at straws.
