    1. This installment is slightly more fragmented than the other two, but more back story of the central characters is revealed. The last tale, in particular the last page, is very powerful.

    2. This volume builds a lot off of the previous two. Start with volume 1.Shoulder-A-Coffin Kuro follows of the unusual traveller Kuro, her sensei who just happens to be a talking bat, and two odd children. Kuro wanders with a coffin strapped to her back and is often mistaken for a boy and/or vampire.Volume 1 of Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro introduced our cast in stand alone adventures tinged with dark whimsy.     3. No color, like the first 2 volumes, it still has gorgeous colored pages scattered though the volume. I have waited like 6 years for this! I thought the series died with volume 2. I so adore this odd storyline.

    4. Flows along beautifully from v2.The fairytale-like story unfolds further, accompanied by lavish artwork with the odd colour pages to make things even better!
