    1. This is a fun story to read with your children. It's about a dog who appears to be ornery, stubborn and defiant, but the owner/narrator just loves her to death and thinks she's brave, charming, and quirky. The pictures are adorable and help highlight the contradictions between the owner's description of the dog and her actual behavior.

    2. Summary: Boodil is a bullterrier, but not any bullterrier, no, Boodil is the best dog in the whole world. She does everything in her own way, not always very dog-like. It takes forever for Boodil to go down the stairs, and it takes just as long for her to walk back up again. She may not like to catch balls in the park, but she enjoys watching when other dogs do. Boodil doesn’t do puddles or rain, and she likes to be spoon-fed. She is tired most of the time, except a few hours at night when she [...]

    3. Even my son, who is more into cats than dogs, thought this book was funny. If you have a dog lover in your home, this is a big win. Watercolor illustrations show what kind of dog Boodil the Bull Terrier is: stubborn, worried, quirky, not terribly bright. But the text, from the kid owner of Boodil, paint her has brave, intelligent, and the best dog ever. I love the page showing sleeping Boodil on an armchair, covered with a blanket with just her pink nose sticking out. The text says, "This is Boo [...]

    4. This book is a very simple read, but I enjoyed it and I think it would be a great book to introduce to preschoolers or first graders. It's about a dog who seems to be rather stubborn and possesses a bunch of negative qualities, but the owner thinks otherwise and says nothing but nice things about the dog. The illustrations are unique and detailed. Overall, the story is sweet and I think it's a good book to entertain the students. There isn't much of a message, but you can always add an activity [...]

    5. Summary (CIP): Boodil the dog has many endearing qualities from his bottom-first climb down the staris to his nightly "Superdog" exercise routine.Review: I am not a dog lover, but this books reminds me of every dog I ever almost loved. Boodil and all her quirks are described so lovingly by her unseen owner. Readers will enjoy Boodil herself, as well as comparing her to their own pets. Positive reviews from SLJ and PW

    6. Delightful and unusual book. Excellent for teaching that it is often how you spin the situation, it can look great from another angle. Made me smile as I think of my own beloved quirky dogs. A book that will appeal to many adults just as much as the children.
