    1. Is Love Enough is a very sweet, very innocent read. I feel the need to explain my ratings. I didn't dislike the book, in fact, I whizzed through it so quickly that I hadn't actually realised I was nearing the end I read it in just one evening. But as a blogger, I feel that I have a responsibility to the people that follow my blog, to let them know what I think they would and wouldn't enjoy. The books I ordinarily read and recommend are often a lot more edgy than Is Love Enough and for that reaso [...]

    2. Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book ReviewreadyourwritesHave you ever picked up a book and fell in love with it immediately? I did just that with Is Love Enough by first time author, Marisa Adams. Is Love Enough starts out with the funeral of twenty-five year old, Rebekah Thomas' husband, Steve. Rebekah and Steve were highschool sweethearts who thought they had their whole lives before them, until one phone call changed everything.Fast forward one year and Rebekah, still reeling from the lost of [...]

    3. This is Marisa Adam's debut novel and I have to say I am very impressed with Is Love Enough. I have always enjoyed thoughtful romance novels and Marisa did not disappoint with this tale of happily ever after.Marisa makes her characters very relatable. Your heart will grieve right along with Bekah with the death of her husband and then you'll swoon for the devastatingly handsome Jason who falls head over heels for sweet Rebekah. You'll also love the other characters like Danny and Nikki. I can't [...]

    4. Okay, so I finished the book. All I have to say about her, is that bitch!! Glad she got what was coming to her. I absolutely loved every part of the book. The storyline moved at a great pace, and anyone in love with a celebrity can relate (still waiting for Ryan Reynolds to return my messages;) ). No tawdry sex scenes, but passion and romance. As a fellow romantic, it's everything I thought it would be coming from your gifted hands and imagination, and then some. I can't wait for the next instal [...]

    5. One of the best books I have read this year. I didn't want to put it down I was rooting for Rebekah from the first page. This book hooks you right in won't let you go till the very last page.I think the only part of this book I wished I understood more was Rebekah sister. And the emotions around all that, it was kind of like she got a bit skipped over. But other then that, AMAZING love story. I smile thinking of it.A must read for any romantics out there. Ahhh I get the warm a fuzzy's :)

    6. This book consists of all the usual hates.1 Yes, the dreaded insta-love. Aah! Kill me now. 2 telling not showing (or unnecessary telling after the showing)3 inappropriate whispering4 over-exaggerated “Oh she's so beautiful/perfect/amazing/” CHEESY. 5 non-engaging dialogueHonestly, the best parts were when they were fighting. You know there's something wrong with a book when you're only interested in them breaking up.

    7. If you read my book reviews regularly, you know that I tend to very critical of romances that are typical and have the basic "happily ever after" formula. All too often, these books are haphazardly written and published, and I generally find those mediocre at best. If the author is an exceptional author, I may be inclined to give the book a higher rating. But rarely do I give these kinds of romances a 5-star rating. And if it is a contemporary romance, the chances are even more slim. If is a sho [...]

    8. While in New York at a teacher’s conference, Rebekah stumbles upon famous daytime actor, Jason Taylor. The attraction between the two is instant and the feelings that overtake them is unlike any the two have ever felt before. But with hundreds of miles between them and lives that don’t exactly follow the same social circlesey have to ask themselves…is love enough? Or will the factors stacking up against them at every turn do the young couple in before love has a chance to be had?I am not a [...]

    9. I really enjoyed this book. It was a really quick and easy read for me, I think I read it in about 3 hours. It was one of those that once I got started I didn't want to put it down I didn't! It did remind me a lot of Tina Reber's Love Unscripted though. Rebekah is a middle school teacher who lost her husband after just a few short years of marriage. He was her high school sweetheart and the only man she ever loved. She is in New York City for a teaching conference when she meets Jason Taylor, a [...]

    10. This book was cute. There were times where I felt I was reading a love story about young teenagers, not a widow and a celebrity. The way their thoughts were written as if they were talking aloud, drove me a bit nuts. Also, one paragraph she would be talking, then the next paragraph had switched to his POV, and that gave me whiplash, since I felt the whole book went back and forth inside the chapters instead of the chapters themselves being per character. The story itself was about second love, a [...]

    11. Marisa's debut novel leaves readers ready for more. In this classic love story, love doesn't come easily for Rebekah as she must learn that it's okay to love again. Marisa's characters are dynamic and there's even one readers will love to hate. It's a quick read and a great place for escape from the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

    12. If you want a quick, wholesome, escape, this is a good read for you. Rebekah is on hold in her life. She enjoys her career, yet she isn't really moving forward personally. And as often happens, opportunities present themselves when we least expect them to. This story gives you a little mystique, a little drama and more than enough hope.

    13. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It was nice to have the opportunity to read a clean, sweet story. It was easy to get lost in Rebekah and Jason's love story but all of the side characters were easy to enjoy too. If you love sweet stories with happy ever after endings, and a few twists along the way, this is the book for you!

    14. I would give this book 3.5 stars. It was a quick read. I am planning on reading the second book. This book had a lot of kissing, a little more racey then I normally read.

    15. It was a very sweet book but maybe a little toonilla (?) the whole way through. I think there was too much emphasis on their extreme attachment to each other and not enough reality that the whole storyline seemed a bit bland. I thought it was a fun read and I also praise the author to keep it clean but romantic.

    16. i didnt finish this book but what i did was really good i just couldnt finish there were some mistakes i will have to try and get this as an actual book instead of ebook cuz the mistakes were too great and missing sentences pissed me off but its def on my too buy list and try again

    17. My first novel my Marisa Adams and it was rather enjoyable. Didn't seem too plausible for me, maybe because I don't believe in people falling head over heels in love so quickly. There was a good amount of romance and drama involved so it made the book a quick read.
