    1. This book contains much useful information, but the scope is too narrow to be as applicable as the subject matter might allow. Mason clearly explains the model used at Wilshire Baptist Church for training ministerial residents and offers suggestions for any congregations wishing to pursue a similar program. The book, however, might have been useful if Mason had taken an even wider view to include more discussion of alternative options in training ministers through congregational work.
