    1. Main Characters:Avery - A human woman taken by the Theron warriors to be a breeder mateZeb - The Theron warrior who purchases Avery at auctionSynopsis:Avery is taken to be a breeding mate to ensure that the Theron species is not lost after a calamity causes most of their women to either die or be infertile. The story revolves around Avery adjusting to her new life within Theron society and with Zeb as a mate.My Thoughts:I first need to say that I think it is inappropriate for the author to write [...]

    2. I read a few boiks about human women kidnapped by aliens to be their mates and I have to say, this one was one of the best in terms of building and layout. But it was sadly very boring. There were no suspens, no unexpected events and the Therons warriors were so close to human I didn t see the difference. The characters were too dull. One or two tantrum and that s it. No real fire, no passion. Too bad really

    3. I think i fell asleep three times while reading this. I just couldn't get into it. The writing style was just all over the place and most times i had to reread a sentence or paragraph to figure out whos POV i was reading and/or if it was a flashback of some sort. I also didn't like any of the characters and i just wanted the book to be over.

    4. 3.5 STARSI don't know what it is but this premise 'Aliens kidnapping Earth females as mates' never gets old for me. I can read 100 of these books with the same exact premise and I still love the concept. It's such a guilty pleasure and Theron Destiny did not disappoint. It wasn't the best I've read but it wasn't even close to the worse. The writing was good and there was actual 'meat' to the story. There was back stories and development with the characters, plot, and setting. One of my favorite [...]

    5. Good but blandThe idea of the story was good. The delivery of the plot was just a little one dimensional at times. Never got a real feel for the characters or the environment, yes they are in space but no real descriptions or impressions. There could have been so much more with the characters, the storyline, and the protagonist. Overall like a bland store bought chocolate chip cookie when you really wanted a warm fresh homemade one.

    6. The book as the idea had a lot pf potential but somehow didn't work for me. It didn't make sense to me when the women were bought by their future mates. Being desperate to have a mate and coming from a warrior race a fight for a mate maybe would have worked for me. I hope the next book get's better.

    7. I liked this first book about The Brides of Theron. There were some grammatical errors, but the story was good. Some of the conversations were a little silly at some points. But I did like the book and will read the next ones in the series. I am most interested in Emma's story.

    8. Alice💋 Through the Wormhole🐍Avery👗💋, kidnapped from 🌎earth by a ship load of huge alpha 👽alien warriors🔪🔫 from the planet Theron, finds herself in a room with 15 other young human women. 9. I am hating this book so far. The writing isn't the problem it's the storyline that has me wanting to kill someone. We got women who are bought and sold to the highest bidder and all of a sudden she just gets over it and decides I just get with the alien program. Now I have read other kidnap by alien books that have not rubbed me wrong, but it is something about buying a human being that rubs me all types of wrong. Maybe it is because of my culture but the selling of human beings makes me want t [...]

    10. This is book 1 of Brides of Theron, with very few woman on the planet Theron Zeb and others go to earth to find mates so that their planet doesn't become extinct, there Zeb see's Avery, while trying to catch her he saves her from another warrior who wants to harm Avery. Now Zeb will have to bid and win Avery, once he does Avery and Zeb will have to move past their differences and Avery will have to adjust to a whole new planet. As Avery and Zeb fall in love a warrior has plans not only for Avery [...]

    11. Theron Destiny (Brides of Theron #1)by Rebecca Lorino Pond Their race was being exterminated. Earth held the first compatiable females they had come across. Their race now depended on the women of Earth. Avery was minding her own business on her way home from work when she noticed shadows pursuing her! She was going to be kidnapped but she wouldn't go without a fight. Zeb, Theron Warrior, promised to protect her with his life and would do anything for her to make her his forever. He needed to pr [...]

    12. auctioning off mates hmmmm I liked the book it was interesting there was a couple of spelling issues and mix ups but it did not deter from the story. Aliens coming to earth in order to receive mates. They make a deal with nasa information for women. When they capture the women they auction them off. I of course had a problem with this and also the fact that there were numerous flaws associated with this distribution and procurement. The characters were lovable and you only wanted the best for th [...]

    13. Not badThis is an interesting story. The characters are believable and really come to life in the story quite well. Of course quite a few situations remained unresolved so I will probably read the next one that follows.

    14. earth allows women to be kidnapped by aliens in order to get secrets of spaceflightny unhappy women carried off and sold to prospective mates.

    15. Great story!Really liked the whole premise of this new series and look forward to reading the next one. This book is definitely on my read again list.

    16. The story kept me enthralled. I definitely recommend this book. I couldn't put it down I anticipated and estimated where the story would take me. Kudos to the author and I can't wait for book 2!!!!
