    1. Viva la Pizza! by Scott Wiener is a surprisingly informative book about pizza boxes. That's right -- PIZZA BOXES! I picked it up thinking it was merely going to be a book of pictures, but that's not the case. The author has clearly done his research and it shows in his writing. This helped me go from "I'm just going to flip through this" to "let me sit down and read the entire thing." Which I did. And I enjoyed it immensely. This book will probably only hold the interest of pizza-fans, but c'mon [...]

    2. One of my favorite parts of working in a library is the exposure to books I would never see otherwise. Books come across the circulation desk on subjects that I would never even think of looking into. So when a book like this comes my way, I feel like I won a prize. I love pizza. I love graphic design. And I love learning the stories behind random aspects of everyday life. So, in other words, this book has it all. It's funny, informative, and really well-designed.

    3. If you love pizza, you will love this book. Scott Wiener, perhaps the world's top authority on all things pizza, has lovingly compiled a cool book about the pizza box! He is in possession of the world's biggest collection of pizza boxes according to the Guinness Book of World Records! So sit back, grab a slice of pizza, and read the story behind the box that contains the tastiest food on the planet!

    4. One of THE highlights from our 2012 NYC family trip was going on Scott's Pizza Tours, and eating three different styles of pizza produced in three different types of ovens. I received this book - sort of a coffee table book - this past Christmas and have enjoyed reading about pizza boxes and Scott's interest in collecting them. The only thing that would be better would be if Scott wrote a history of pizza in U.S with recipes of course!

    5. Wiener clearly knows his pizza, but I feel like he had trouble organizing his thoughts for this.I wish every pizza box picture had been accompanied with a caption of where it was from and what year it was from. After his into talking about timelines and locations, I was expecting this.

    6. You'll never look at your pizza boxes the same after this book. Cool photos are interspersed with fun facts about the how and why behind the world's most interesting and unusual pizza boxes.
