    1. I'm always leary of self-published books because quite frankly, many of them I've read haven't been that great. This one was a pleasant surprise. The formatting was good, the grammar was exceptional with only a few minor, minor errors that appeared to simply be missed during a final proofing, but there's nothing major that makes it difficult to read.     2. Daisy was an interesting read. Starting out with a phone call that would set the book into motion, you shift into the world of Daisy, a 35 year old woman who's life is about to change drastically. Thompson has done a wonderful job in drawing the reader into the story. Her descriptions help each scene play out and are nice visual aids in guiding you through the story.As with most of Thompson's books, she likes to show the different point of views of the main character and those close to them.
