    1. "The Foul Mouth and the Troubled Boomworm" is the third book in the King Henry series and Richard Raley did it again made me laugh so hard, I almost fell from my couch. Like in the first books of the series two King Henry stories are told in turns. The first is about King Henry, 15 years old at the Institution. The second is about King Henry, 23 years old, now proud artificer shop owner. This time King Henry (15 years) is fighting together with his class mates of Ultra class ‘09 to win the W [...]

    2. What a great ride this one was! Not sure how things would end up and then getting hit with such a plot twist that you never really see coming. I am so excited for the next book and recommend this series!

    3. Oh. My. Word. Excellent with some great curve balls thrown in to keep you off balance I'm downloading the next one now!

    4. From readingandwritingurbanfantasy. At A GlanceMind. Explosion. If you aren't reading this series, then something is wrong with you. And I mean that in the most respectful way. ;)Caution: I get a little rough and sweary when writing the Foul Mouth book reviews. These books bring it out of me. The GoodYou know what, Raley? I don't even trust you anymore. I don't know if I want to punch you in the throat or lick your brain. Seriously, that ending. My brain has still not processed it. That's one hel [...]

    5. Granted, my children are 19 and 20 because Foul-Mouth is not a series for children. But My family and I have shared the Harry Potter books and the Dresden series and I am now alone in reading these, while they are bogged down in Game of Thrones, but by the time they get done with Those books, I keep telling them they have to meet King Henry. This is my favorite so far, and please PLEASE hurry with the next one. Rude as King Henry is, the stories are creative, the characters are captivatingly dis [...]

    6. A modern day fantasy. I found this book and books 1 & 2 of the King Henry Tales series entirely entertaining, so much so that I read them back-to-back. OBYW King his the protagonist's name, not his title. The novels switch between flashback chapters of King Henry's school experiences and chapters set in the 'current' period of his life. Rife with adventures with the magically gifted, spirits, etc. Very well conceived and written, plus a good editing job.My Rating SystemMy rating system (*]st [...]

    7. Easily the best of the series to this point. If you're reading these you need to get this book immediately, and if you aren't reading them, you should be.Not only do we get to finally meet the legendary Boomworm, but the story really opens up into much, much more than any of us probably ever expected. The future of this series is looking fantastic if this installment is any indication.I could go on and on about how great this is, but without spoiling anything all I'd be doing is pretty much sayi [...]

    8. Third book in the series and still not only going strong but getting even better. New and interesting characters are still being introduced and still stand out as individuals in an already large cast of characters. The main protagonist is still learning growing and maturing keeping that freshness that so after fades after the first book in a series. Question about the world he lives in are being answered but each answer expands the universe creating more mystery and more questions to delve into. [...]

    9. Best of the series so far! Absolutely awesome! Great character progression both from young King Henry and the adult version! Also I totally thought Isabel was fucking with him and fucking him when I first read that she kept changing her appearance. And I really hope daughter he mentioned in an earlier book "tape" is his daughter with Val.Getting my hands on the fourth book as soon as I possibly can!

    10. Just when I thought the series couldn't throw any more surprises at mewell, shit. I can't discuss it without spoiling the hell out of everything. I'll leave it at this: it's great, you won't see every twist coming, and at least once you will receive a colossal mindf*ck from this story. It's fantastic, and the protagonist could not be more believable and compelling.Read it already, dammit!

    11. Loved this book. Plenty of action, and I was laughing pretty heavily at some of it. The "End of the Beginning" hooked King Henry up with a bunch of new things to think about. I had to read it twice to make sure I caught everything.Definitely looking forward to the next entry in the series. :)

    12. Wow. What a mindf@ck. I have to say this leaves books one and two in the dust, although this is far more serious than those.New enemy - one that even the vamps and weres are scared of. We find out who Meteyos is. Mindf@ck. And then, right at the end biggest mindf@ck of all. And if you're not screaming for book 4 then you haven't been reading what I have.

    13. Four star rating aside, the little foray into Middle Earth made me very, very nervous. I mean, we all know what happened when George Lucas tried to explain the Force. Is the same thing going to happen to the Mancy?

    14. Not exactly Harry Potter, but great fun for grownupsLove this series. It's a great twist on the magic school theme with a definite adult slant. Please don't let your kids read it, even when they hear you laughing!
