Short but informativeA resume of the famous Battle of North Cape, where the battleship Duke of York and several cruisers defended an Arctic Convoy from the German battle cruiser Scharnhorst, ultimately sinking her. A lot of the text is based upon journal accounts so is not actually the words of the sailor in the first person, but it does give a good impression of how difficult life was for those merchant seamen.
