    1. Michael Karpovage's new book, Map of Thieves, has all the ingredients for success. Betrayal, suspense and historical fact, brilliantly mixed with present day fiction, make Map of Thieves an intriguing read that is extremely hard to put down. Lt. Col Jake Tununda and his girlfriend Rae Hart are once again on a treasure hunt. Jake who is also a Freemason military historian finds that a Civil War hat has meen stolen from the West Point Military Museum. Believed to be in this hat is a waybill from th [...]

    2. The amount of research that goes into a Michael Karpovage novel is intense. Map of Thieves is no exception. From the Cherokee history, to the Masonic history and Savannah, Georgia, all the details are tight. Jake Tununda and his girlfriend Rae Hart are back and joined by some very interesting new characters. Tommy Black Watie IV is a descendent of Stand Watie, famous Cherokee Civil War veteran. Alex Vann is another descendent of the Cherokee nation. Tom Black is a Congressman, millionaire playbo [...]

    3. While I frequently disagree with Mr. Karpovage's political comments, the rest of the book is a fun adventure to read. I also appreciate the historical notes at the end of the book.

    4. ADVANCED PRAISE FOR MAP OF THIEVES submitted by publisher:A great mystery with an ingenious plot, MAP OF THIEVES reminds me of Dan Brown and Steve Berry thrillers. This is the latest novel I’ve read by Karpovage, and his best to date. The book is a real page-turner, packed with action and suspense. At the same time, it does an amazing job of weaving in mysterious artifacts, historical information about the Civil War, and Native American lore. I particularly liked Jake Tununda and the sexy Rae [...]

    5. Not long ago, I finished "Crown of Serpents", I so throughly enjoyed that book that when I found another book was in this series, I immediately acquired it. I was not disappointed. This author has an uncanny approach to placing the reader right into the story. From the description of the sights, sounds and smells, it is almost like being there as an unseen, first hand observer. I really enjoyed the various aspects of history, modern day with just enough addition of fiction, and Masonic intrigue [...]

    6. Great story line! This book was hard to put down, you wanted to continue to see what happens next. (get a much better proof reader next time!)
