    1. This book of photographs follows the Lewis and Clark Trail. Mack travelled and photographed the trail, and intersperses his images with quotes from the journals of both Lewis and Clark. I am reminded anew of what a courageous journey this was, incredible in its scope and in its accomplishments. Most of the photos are first-rate; Mack's landscapes are especially strong.
