    1. I’m an absolute sucker for reincarnation stories. It’s the idea of a second chance (third, fourth, or fifth, even?), of righting what was wrong once upon a time, of redemption, closure, etc that gets me every time. There’s something mystical and spiritually nebulous about the idea of returning in different lifetimes that’s always intrigued me.A Bell for Andy is all about being given another chance (a third one in this case) at correcting a past tragedy, but it comes with a wrinkle. Each [...]

    2. 5 star review by DanCan I say I just love this volunteer reviewer gig! It allows me to read books like “A Bell for Andy” that I might never have found on my own. And trust me, I would not have wanted to miss this one.I had no idea, when picking this book off our list of available books, what the book was even about. I mean seriously, that is one of the scantest blurbs I’ve ever read! Now to see if I can review it without giving too many spoilers…because truthfully I just want to rave abo [...]

They become fast friends and before long are inseparable. The two have many things in common, including what they learn is a set of the same recurring dreams. While it's clear the two have affection for each other, they never share more than a kiss. And though they go to college together, Andy leaves early and loses touch with Brian. Their pa [...]

    4. A Joyfully Jay review. 4 starsThe first chapter moves us along quickly through the childhood of Brian and Andy until they are in their thirties. Brian then pretty much drops everything when he learns of Andy’s accident, even though their relationship is strained. Brian then meets Mark for the first time, or is it their first meeting? The first half of the book was intriguing and unique and this is not a story you see all the time. We get several perspectives through present day, which is 1995 i [...]

    5. An interesting reincarnation/missed chance-lovers story. It's low on the romance angle and at times it's very repetitive in the dream recounting.I'd have liked more made of the romance (maybe make it almost Insta-love in this situation) but all in all an interesting read.
