    1. When tragedy mars your youth and teen years it tends to shape what comes next in your life. For Amii Sloane it was when her 15 year old sister was kidnapped and killed and she was a witness to it. In fact she was a survivor but that was really overlooked due to the end results of her beloved sister’s death. If only her sister could have fought as hard as she did.Amii was never given the luxury of dealing with her own pain or the pain of losing her sister because right after the trial, that she [...]

    2. First reviewed at Keeper BookshelfAmii never in a million years expected to run into Ryan Maine at a publicity party bash. Even less likely in her imagination was that he would ever try to talk to her or flirt with her. She lost no time in setting him straight. Ryan had been the defense lawyer for the scum that had murdered her sister. He had so badly torn apart her testimony that the jury did not convict her sister’s murder, who went on to kill other defenseless women. She had hated Ryan for [...]

    3. Ryan and Amii meet at a party held for authors and screen Writers. Ryan is attracted to Amii but when he approaches her, she is far from polite to him. Amii remembers Ryan from the time when he was a lawyer and crossed examined her which resulted in her hating him but he doesn't remember her. After all that was two decades ago. On her return home Amii emails some links with details of the court case to Ryan and this definitely refreshes his memory and his need to get to know her increases even m [...]

    4. Amii's Angel grabbed me from the blurb and I had to read it, I was fortunate that Netgalley gave me the novella in exchange for an honest review. This is very much a 2nd meeting romance where holding on to the past just messes up the future. This is a short but intense novella at only 115 pages. I wish the novel was full length as the plot could have been above average if there had been more words to really dig into the past history of the two and allowed even more build up of the sexual tension [...]

    5. This was a pretty good fast read. I was bothered that parts of the book seemed to be written a bit imatuarly while others were extremely hot. It was almost like two different people were writing. At times Amii and Ryan's characters where acting like teenagers even though both were aged in their 30's ans 40's in the book with how they were acting and talking and other times they were acting their age. I did not get the feeling this was part of the characters profile but the writers style and for [...]

    6. Loved it!Great story about letting go of the past, allowing you to embrace the future, not every first impression is true, and sometimes you have to take a closer look.Amii unexpectedly runs into a man who helped ruin her world and destroy her soul. Having thought she had moved on, it was a shock to feel the bitter ugly feelings rise up. Will she be able to move on when offered everything she wants and needs? Maybe everything isn't as it seems at first glance but then again, does anyone ever cha [...]

    7. Natalie-Nicole Bates has done it again. This book was an exciting sexy romance that kept you intrigued from the first. I always enjoy Natalie's characters & the ones here were no different. A daughter feeling guilty about putting her mom, who is suffering from dementia, in assisted-living. A man from the past whom she has sworn to hate offers her a job to help with her increasing expenses. Will they find common ground??? Read it & find out. I thoroughly enjoyed this book & I recommen [...]

    8. After almost twenty years, Amii comes face to face with the man responsible for setting loose the man who killed her sister. Wanting to despise him, a spark when they touch leaves her confused. Ryan sees Amii at a party and knows immediately he wants her in his life. Not remembering who she is sparks an array of emotion. Watch as Amii and Ryan heal and find love and grow with each other. Beautiful romance.

    9. This book was so poorly written it almost drive me insane trying to get through it, in fact I almost didn't. The main character, Ryan, reminded me of 70's porn stard porn, not the good stuff! Amii, ridiculous name by the way, is a woman I would want to smack upside the head and say "get your shit together!"UGH! It was torture. I am just glad it was short!I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. (thank goodness I didn't buy it!)

    10. 5.0 out of 5 stars I loved, loved this!, March 29, 2015 By melanie samayoaThis review is from: Amii's Angel (Kindle Edition) This story is one of two injured souls coming together and healing one another. Amii is made to realize that she needs to give life a chance and that she has to let someone in so that she can truly live. I would recommend this to everyone!

    11. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley/Books to Go Now for an honest review. There are parts of the book that I really enjoyed. To me the scenes did not flow. There were some steamy scenes and a sweet romance. It was like the characters were suppose to act one way then did the total opposite. I just wish the scenes had flowed better. It was an okay read.

    12. This is my absolute favorite of Natalie-Nicole Bate's stories! I have a paralegal degree so I absolutely love stories that have a lawyer in them lol. From a legal point-of-view the story is authentic! I absolutely love this plot and the characters are so realistic and amazing! This is a MUST READ! :)

    13. This was a great book. It had so many things that made it great. It was so well written and it had some steamy scenes. Most of all it was about forgiveness. It was a great romance. I highly recommend this read.
