    1. loved it. I love the edge in the narration, and that nothing is ever really explained. honestly this goes for all of his works that I've read.

    2. Hipster Punk CreepThis is the backstory of a character from McGreevy's Hemlock Grove. But more than that, it's a nuanced and some what jaundiced look at a cultural milieu, an off-the- beaten-path life style, and the things that truly creep us out - from Cabbage Patch man to the voice in the trunk.

    3. I enjoyed this, yet I fail to see how it is a prequel. There are no direct references to Hemlock Grove save the mention of the name Olivia once, and the mention of steel mills.

    4. This is a quick and dirty read; 50 pages. I read most of it during lunch and polished it off during my afternoon break. The content is raunchy, hence quick and dirty. The writing is different than Hemlock Grove but still unusual and that made it enjoyable. This would make a great film short.

    5. Stimulating visualsWell-written. Vivid imagery.Felt like much of the story was left hanging. I crave more and am unsatisfied in this as it is a prequel to Hemlock Grove. McGreevy does have captivating diction in his works that tend to be lacking from many other writer's works.

    6. La narración es increíble. Espero que el autor publique algo más después, si no es de este universo, al menos de otro.

    7. This is one heck of a sexy read! It's the kind of book you just can't put down til the very end. I loved it!
