    1. I picked this one up recently for the simple fact that this is the issue that introduces Deadpool. Well it introduces Gideon, Domino and Deadpool, but he was the only one I really cared about. Now to be fair, I am not a huge Deadpool fan. His particular style of humor (far more annoying than the typical Spiderman banter) is not to my taste. Still when I saw this issue I figured "What the hell" and bought it.In this we are treated to the usual Rob Liefield mess. The art brings back a great deal o [...]

    2. As someone who tries to get into the Marvel comics, but always fails because it's too overwhelming, here I am again trying to just follow a character -- Deadpool. This is where he first appears apparently, but I don't really get the story??? Like ok, he's there. Now what? Oh well, next!

    3. What do you get when you take Deathstroke, Spider-Man and Wolverine and combine them into one? Personally, I'd say copyright infringement.

    4. I honestly cannot say i enjoyed this very much. I had such high hopes! First sighting of Deadpool, yes please! Our Merc with a Mouth certainly wasn't very present and so it just seemed like me reading and waiting for my favourite character to comment. Slightly disappointing to say the least

    5. Y'all know why you read this. Otherwise, expendable as the art is atrocious and it doesn't compare to Deadpool's current awesomeness. Good effort, though.

    6. Read as True Believers Deadpool #1, January 2016. I was excited to read about Deadpool's first appearance but the art was so bad I couldn't concentrate on the story.

    7. The Marvel Universe is vast and overwhelming. Even following just a single character is a lot of work. Take Deadpool for example. He makes his debut in this issue, 98 issues into The New Mutants. I may circle back at a later time to start from the beginning but life is short and I’ll stick to the Deadpool reading guide for now.

    8. The first appearance of Deadpool, and my first experience with Cable as well this is good, considering they end up with a history. I think. It was interesting to see Deadpool fresh out of the box and kinda a villain. He was definitely still Deadpool. More.
