    1. 3.5 stars / C+Review posted on Fiction Vixen: fictionvixen/review-relentThis novella piqued my interest in Amy Sandas as a romance writer, and I am interested in reading some of her other work, but it definitely wasn’t the best novella I’ve read this summer. Overall, it was a light, fun, and enjoyable quick read that – despite some shortcomings – put a smile on my face.Setting. Lancashire, England, 1815. Story takes place over ~1 week at a country estate party.Premise. Miss Hannah Walpol [...]

    2. Decent little novella. I liked Hannah, Miles was your standard rogue hero. I honestly feel like Hannah should have gotten a bigger book just because she had such an unconventional upbringing.

    3. This book is very short yet so adorable and very on point. This is why I like the book so muchIt told the story about the fateful meeting between Hannah and Miles at the party of Miles' friends, Grimm, where Hannah is having trouble with her garter and Miles helped her to solve that problem within seconds. And of course, during that time, the spark of connection and attraction hit them both in full swing with no where else to turnI truly enjoyed the way the story was told, the way it ended, ther [...]

    4. I love this funny and captivating story.Engaging and unique in the world of regency writing. A thoroughly good read. I really loved the characters who were refreshingly lacking in stuffiness. Thank you Amy.

    5. 3.5 stars. This quick, Regency read is fun and charming – just as long as you can leave your history hat to one side. Hannah is definitely not your average debutante, being more used to the wilds of Africa than the ballroom jungles of England. Despite two years of intensive instruction from her family, she’s no closer to fitting in than when she arrived. Which is how she finds herself alone in a corridor at a country house party with a renowned rake’s hand up her skirt!Okay, so it’s not [...]

    6. Relentless Lord by Amy SandasOverview by :Hannah Walpole suspected the etiquette lessons her parents insisted upon were a wasted effort. Now, looking around at the ton at her debut, she’s sure of it. Her home is the African continent. She simply does not fit in English Society. Nothing will convince her otherwise, especially not a devilishly handsome lord with black hair, vivid green eyes and a wicked reputation for debauching innocent young women.Lord Miles Whitely admires Hannah’s adventur [...]

    7. Hannah Walpole has been forced by her parents to return to England from the African continent she she can have a London Season. She does not fit in with English Society nor her own cousins. Her debuet was held back because her uncle didn't think she was ready. At a house party, she is having a wardrobe malfunction - her garter clip has twisted and is pinching the back of her knee. She attempts to find the WC, but finds Lord Miles Whitely. Hannah can't reach the offending garter clip so Miles vol [...]

    8. 3.5 stars. A pleasant Historical Novella that was well written. Nice story and the right amount of steam. It was a bit short, but I expected that. A good lead in to the series and I loved Rebel Marquess which I read first, but that wasn't an issue as each story is complete. I now have 3 more of this author's books to read which I am looking forward to.Not sure about the title of Lord Whitely for the hero as he has 2 older brothers and would be referred to as Lord Miles or Honorable - depending o [...]

    9. Miss Hannah Walpole is hopelessly different. She’s the daughter of African explorers navigating the cold waters of her first London Season, sponsored by her uncle. But after two years of proper “training” in deportment and etiquette, she’s still an original, not at all like the simpering misses of the ton. Fortunately, she has a backbone, but she suffers in silence, bullied by her jealous cousin Beatrice and Beatrice’s snobbish friends.Hannah and Miles’ first meeting is amusing and c [...]

    10. *ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*This was a cute short read that deals with an outcast of sorts (Hannah who grew up in the African continent) and a frivolously portrayed rake (Miles). There is more than meets the eye for both. She's unusual and interesting with a strength of character that is at odds with her age. Miles might be considered a rake but is actually a decent and sweet man. He is at peace with his reputation and actually enjoys it to a degree. Is it short so th [...]

    11. quick, cheeky, fun read. The characters are engaging, if a bit usual for a Regency Historical, but an enjoyable read, nonetheless. I found "Relentless Lord" to be a fun read, not too complex. It does have a "bad" cousin, who I would have enjoyed seeing her getting her due. A great afternoon read! *Received for an honest review from the publisher via Net Gallery*Rating: 4Heat rating: MildReviewed by: AprilR, courtesy of My Book Addiction and More

    12. The heroine, Hannah Walpole is not like the other young ladies in her debut. She didn't grow up with England has her home, instead she feels her home is in the African continent. Her parents have tried to get her in the "England tone" for her debut, but for Hannah it doesn't seem to help. The hero, Lord Miles Whitely is to me a fun hero and with Hannah giving the aptitude that she will not / cannot be seduced sets some of the tone for the hero to prove differently.

    13. I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a good historical read. In this book Hannah is new to the glittery Ton and she knows that she does not fit in. Then a rake of the highest order decides that Hannah is the girl for him. I enjoyed this read it was quick and fun.

    14. A hot, sexy quick read. I loved it. Deep characters, and a wonderful, different story. Ms. Sandas's style shines in this great book.
