    1. I've tried to finish this graphic novel, but I just can't go on. I was not impressed on the illustrations, and most especially on the story and its pacing. The best to describe this is that it is quite pretentious or gaudy; it fails to deliver thus it became tasteless.

    2. Sigh What to say about this one? This book was certainly ambitious. The writer seemed to want to write the ultimate story, encompassing the entire multiverse, protesting against the hyper-commercialised society we live in, combining magic with technology with sex with love with psychedelia whilst still retaining the comicbook and science fiction tropes that have come to represent the genre and the medium; outlandish costumes, insane plots and lots of action and violence.     3. 3.5Story was not my typical go-to for graphic novels. I tried it because I wanted something new and wanted to support the author. He's a nice guy. The story was OK - seemed a little pretentious at times. It tried to dive into philosophical meaning and such, but just grazed the surface and didn't really add any additional perspective or analysis. I wasn't sure if the authors was trying to make commentary, or just be ridiculous. Maybe both, either way, the concept was lost on me. The characters we [...]
