1 thought on “Planet Hulk #1

    1. Captain America incurred the wrath of Doomover a risky attempt to get information on his friend Bucky.Despite my mini synopsis Hulks do actually appear in this issue albeit minimally. I thought I was going to be reading about the craziness of Planet Hulk, not Captain America and his red t-rex companion.2.5 out of 5 stars

    2. Loved it! Steve Rogers as a gladiator and Devil Dinosaur as his partner Wauw, just wauw! (I just bought the Devil Dinosaur omnibus by Jack Kirby, can't wait to read that) This is a great and very original team-up that has a lot of promise. I look forward to seeing more of Greenland! I liked how they put a little origin story of how Greenland came to be in the back of this issue. And how great is it that they have Takeshi Miyazawa who drew Amadeus Cho's (who is one of the characters in this) firs [...]

    3. Marvel's SECRET WARS series really proves itself in this awesome book where we learn quite a lot about a certain piece of Battle World: Greenland, the place where Hulks dwell. The star of this series is Gladiator Steve Rogers, who with his companion, Devil Dinosaur, has been dispatched by God Doom to the Mud Kingdom to kill the Red King; Cap is also looking for Bucky Barnes who went missing on a prior mission to the land of the Hulks. The writing by Sam Humphries gets us from Doom's castle to Gr [...]

    4. This is one of my favorite Secret Wars stories so far. You have Hulks taking pot shots at Thors, gladiator Captain America destroying all comers with his companion Devil Dinosaur, them being sent to Greenland to save Bucky and fight for their freedom, and an origin story for the universe where Amadeus Cho saves everyone from a bomb by turning them into Hulks. It was a fun fist issue that could be one of the better ones overall during this event.

    5. This one had everything I liked from Secret Wars #2. It's more of an exploration of BattleWorld. It's interesting, making the Hulks barbarians with some intelligence but almost primordial all at once. "Captain America" looks for Bucky, and Doom continues to be a mysterious God. I know one of these will boil down to destroying Doom one day, but for now I really love this world.

    6. the book was a great comic of a monster sent to a plant of people just as strong as he is and to live he must fight harder than ever
