    1. This book was a great ghost story/mystery. It had a wonderfully eerie feel to it and so many magical and creepy elements, especially in the old house. The only thing that was lacking was her relationship with her friend Nyssa, but everything else was well done. It’s a great story about Chloe finding her inner strength. Would I read more by this author? Yes. Would I recommend this book to others? Yes.See the full review on my blog, Awesome Book Assessment.

    2. The story “When the Curtain Rises” was an interesting story. But also entertaining. The main characters’ name is Chloe. She goes to her great-aunts’ house to visit for the summer. She learned about some of her relatives, especially her great-aunts’ father, who was a magician, about a hundred-years ago. “Chloe also met a new friend, and she told her about a talent show that she wanted Chloe to play the piano in, but she had stage fright and didn't want to.”. It was very good.
