    1. What a sweet book for kids! It follows the adventures of a curious puppy and a squirrel around the world, seeing the diverse fauna that there is. In this volume, they go to Asia, Africa and the jungles of southamerica. Whereas the two main characters are drawn more infantilized, the animals they discover are great representations made with great technique, and the whole of the book is so sweet and interesting! Also, in the last pages, they provide more detailed information about the animals encou [...]

    2. I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.I wasn’t sure what to expect, sure, the blurb said something about a squirrel and a dog travelling across the globe to visit wildlife. But I didn’t know what kind of story it would be. Comic? Graphic Novel? Picture book style? Something else? A mix of stuff? So I was delighted when I started reading and it turned out to be comics with gorgeous illustrations of the various wildlife of the place these 2 visit. Yes, gorgeous, yo [...]

    3. I really enjoyed this book, is exactly what I would be looking for if I was purchasing a book! Little Pete is a curious puppy led into exciting new environments by his little buddy Eazel, a wily squirrel who loves to explore. They get to visit different countries and meet different animals en route - thoroughly enjoyable.

    4. This was a very well done mix of nonfiction, graphic novel, and picture book. A dog and a squirrel take us in their cardboard plane to the various jungles of the world and help us discover animals. It’s fun and a great alternative to standard nonfiction titles.

    5. This is a cute and informative book about the animals in the jungles of Africa, South America, and Asia. I liked that more information about the animals was given in the back of the book.

    6. This was a great graphic novel for a kid. It was silly, fun, and informative. I know that my nephew (age 8) would love this!

    7. Thank you Netgalley and Magnetic Press for the ebook! A great educational, funny and entertaining book everyone whould buy for their little ones. Just perfect. A+++.

    8. Description: A beautiful illustrated children's book that mixes comic style with colorful paintings. It teaches children about geography, jungles and the life forms that live in them. A puppy and a squirrel go on a fun, educational adventure through various jungles, teaching the reader about everything they encounter. In Short: This is a great book to entertain and educate children. The art is absolutely stunning and I think children would enjoy the comedy, adventure, and animals in this book. I [...]

    9. 'Little Tails in the Jungle' is by the same team that has done the Love series (The Tiger, The Lion, The Fox, etc.), so I looked forward to reading this. This is an educational comic for younger readers with some of the same high quality animal art of the other series. Our narrators are a puppy named Chipper and a squirrel named Squizzo. We follow them on a journey to different jungles throughout the world to learn about animals. Their first stop is the African jungle where they see an okapi, bug [...]

    10. An extremely short book about the adventures of a couple of rudimentarily drawn animals flying around in a cardboard plane. After flying above maps for a while, they land in Africa, where it’s time for the squirrel—I think—to teach the puppy about the animals they see in the jungle. And bugs. And then they fly on to the next place. . . If I have one complaint it’s that I couldn’t tell the two main animals apart, or even what species they were, if not told by the publicity blurb. The fo [...]

    11. This is a very informative children's book. The juxtaposition of the comic like characters with the gorgeous illustrations is a good one and I think this will interest a broad range of children. The animals that the pair see in the forests of the world are varied and fun including gorillas and tarantulas and chameleons and at the back of the book there is a great resource of information about the animals that they visited which is perfect for the children that need to learn more or are purely in [...]

    12. I was definitely surprised by this book. I had thought it would be a simplistic toddler story but it is so much more than that. I love the combination of graphic novel/gorgeous wildlife drawings. It is also very informative and fun for children who are interested in learning about the variety of jungles in our world and the ecosystem. I also liked how they left a link for further information at the end. Highly recommended for elementary school age kids.

    13. Received from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Follow along as the 2 friends travel to several jungles to see the animals that live there. As I was reading, I was wishing there was some information about each of the animals, well the authors have added that information at the back of the book which is great as it doesn't drag the story out for the younger child. A lovely, fun, colourful adventure that would be great for all children.

    14. This book is a great balance of educational and fun. It pairs the traditional animal book with a comic panel that guides you through the world. Having the two cartoon "guides" was a nice way to break things up and introduce the facts in a more friendly fashion. Things aren't being thrown at the reader in a dry, witless manner. You're going on an adventure, after all!

    15. **I received a free ecopy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. This in no way affects my review, and the below opinions are my own.**A fun book about animals from around the world. Focusing on jungle animals, and the rain forests found across the globe.
