    1. ***3.5 Stars***My feelings for this book ranged betweenandIt was quite an up and down for me and I had to sleep over it before I could decide how to rate it. Eventually, I went with rounding up to 4 stars because the ups were definitely in the majority. I won’t go into detail about the story itself. The blurb is informative enough and I always try to be as vague as possible because I don’t want to spoil anything. But it’s safe to say that I loved the story immensely, although it started a [...]

    2. Loved Josh and Cal and they are one of my favorite couples now. This whole book was so fun to read. I can't wait to see what the sequel will be about. This is my first Sue Brown book and I look forward to reading more of her books.

    3. 3.5 StarsThe synopsis for this one caught my eye immediately. I enjoy a good action-suspense story every now and again, and I’ve always had a thing for romances that begin with/involve couples who initially connect in some way other than face-to-face, so the combination of these themes worked quite well for me here.In this instance, MCs Josh and Cal have been chatting online for two years under the pseudonyms Angel and Charlie (a witty play on Charlie’s Angels). The two men have formed a dee [...]

    4. It was alright. It engaged me enough to want to finish it and see what happens. If that doesn't sound very enthusiastic well, I would be lying if I said I was swept off my feet. I think my main problem derives from the fact that I couldn't totally warm up to Josh. At times he comes across like a petulant child, rather than the fabulous professional he is supposed to be. Even in that area, I had my doubts (view spoiler)[ like going off on his own to 'clear his head' was so obviously a bad idea, a [...]

    5. I feel really badSue Brown has written many books that I've liked. So I always hate having to give a low rating to an author I like. This story was just not what I hoped or expected. Josh was supposed to be some hot-shot security agent. If he was, he had to be the most inept, ridiculous hot-shot one they had. The plot was so confusing and riddled with holes. The only thing I wasn't confused about was who Charlie was. The narrative was written to make it easy to guess but Josh remained clueless l [...]

    6. (Originally reviewed for Love Bytes Reviews with a copy provided by the author / publisher for an honest review. Rated 4.5 out of 5.0 Love Bytes)When I saw this book show up on our “to be reviewed” list, I grabbed it before anyone else could. I’ve really liked the books by this author that I’ve read to date, and I’ve been meaning to pick up another book by her, but hadn’t had the chance. Well, now I have.Have you ever read a book, and had your back brain whispering to you that the ch [...]

    7. I have to say first and foremost that this story will keep you on your toes. There’s mysteries left and right with this book. But, I’m going to talk about Josh for a moment. He was absolutely my favorite character in this. Yes, it’s told in his POV so that puts him at an advantage but still… He’s witty, perfect dry humor, good looking, just brilliant. I really feel it was wise to keep it in his POV and not head hop. Though I will say I wanted to get into Cal’s head a time or two. But [...]

    8. A bit of suspension of disbelief is needed but it's a good rompThis book half works. The romance element is very good, Josh and Cal are an intriguing pair who have some amazing chemistry. The adventure side mostly worked too, with the dashes through London and the spy elements. What didn't really work fir me was the actual plot. It never really got properly explained an out the 'how' or the 'why' of what took place occurred. The villain reveal also really didn't work for me, I just couldn't buy i [...]

    9. This book was a flat out five star read for me! I am a huge fan of Sue Brown and her writing style, and while this is not her usual romance, in that it is a mystery/whodunit, the book does have an underlying theme of pure romantic attraction between the two main characters. The banter is light and witty and the chemistry of the two MCs comes off the page. This book paces well, and every time you think you may have it figured out, Brown throws in a curve ball and the mystery continues. I pretty m [...]

    10. This book was just really not very good, which was disappointing, because the writing was fairly good, and I was enjoying the presence of properly used punctuation. Josh was kind of funny - in a childish, obvious, loud way - and I was enjoying it up until the moment his group arrived in London and met up with their British counterparts, which was unfortunately, only about 8 pages in. This was the point at which I realised that not only was the plot incredibly lame, but the romance aspect was wor [...]

    11. This is the first book I've read by this author, and now I can't wait to read more-especially in this series. She blended action, romance, suspense and humor seamlessly in this entertaining story, and had me drawn in tight from page one.I loved, loved, loved Josh's character (yes, enough to say it three times). He's intelligent, sharp-witted, cocky without being an overbearing ass about it, and still shows a vulnerable side when it comes to his feelings for both Charlie and Cal. Cal is his count [...]

    12. Review originally posted atSinfully.3.5 starsAn accidental IM just after Josh began his employment at CDR was the start of an in-office online relationship with a man he knows only as “Charlie”, and who calls Josh “My Angel”, in a nod to Josh’s love of the TV classic Charlie’s Angels. While Josh has his suspicions that Charlie is a higher-up at CDR he has no clue who he’s been sharing the details of his life with over the past two years, but he knows that he has feelings for the ma [...]

    13. Morning My Angel brought all of my reading favourites together and turned them into one beautiful, fast-paced, unputdownable, and heart-warming story. This book gave me fascinating mysteries to solve, combined it with heart-stopping action to keep me turning the pages, and topped it all off with an utterly charming love story, I mean what’s not to love?Let’s look at the mysteries first, because there are several. First and foremost (for me at least) was the question as to who exactly was ‘ [...]

    14. Loved this. It was funny how Josh totally didn't put two and two together to figure out Cal/Charlie. Ha! But I understand his anger when he finally figured it out. Never would have guessed the outcome of the mystery. Totally caught me by surprise.

    15. It's been a while since I've read such a fun and witty Romantic Suspense novel. I LOVED this one. I started it on Saturday, truthfully I was too tired to concentrate on starting a new book, so when I resumed on Tuesday I kept reading until I finished, ignoring the fact my eyes are stinging and there seems to be a faint sound of birds from outside, yeah, it was a little after 4 a.m.! I couldn't and wouldn't put this book down and Tuesday was a bit bleary because of itJosh Cooper works at a securi [...]

    16. Josh talks almost every day with a man he calls "Charlie." He loves the old Charlie's Angel TV show, and they talk about that as well as most everything. He knows it is someone he works with. Just higher up somewhere in the company.Callum AKA "Charlie" has been attracted to Josh since basically the first time he saw him. Everyone is either intimidated or afraid of him or his position. He decided that talking to Josh every day was at least something he could do to get to know him. Now, when they [...]

    17. Sweet story with twistsThis is a story of about Callum and Josh. Sprinkled with a little mystery and some intrigue, but more of a love story about two men who need each other.

    18. 4.5 stars rounded down.Loved the humor, it compensate nicely for a few negative things that I came across.

    19. This was a good read, the writing is strong, the story-line flowed and characters are developed. The love affair between Cal and Josh seemed to develop separately from the detective work Josh's team was sent to do in London. Although he is not a detective, he doesn't handle missing persons cases, but when one of the agencies person disappeared along with a wad of cash, things are handled privately and without police or press. I liked their bickering and Cal's possessiveness of Josh which he seeme [...]

    20. Story: 9First MC: 10Second MC: 8Secondary characters: 7 Mystery: 7Sexual tension: 7 Humor: 7Hotness: 6 Product placement: 4 Ridiculousness: 3Annoying: 2Audio: 8 (7h 48min)To re-read: 10Josh is a horny dude, his inner monologue consists of imagining every man he meets bending him, or tying him downhy mind. He reminds me of Mack from Stay with MeFun read, espionage, Brits, loads of coffee, safe house, and betrayals.I loved the book. This doesn't happen much, I usually just like. I guess I like ass [...]

    21. I was one of the lucky ones that got to beta read Sue Brown's new novel. It's a little different than her previous novels; a missing persons mystery rather than an angsty romance. But it still has all the hallmarks of her writing style: complex characters, a great plot, and some hot sex thrown in!I loved how Josh had to deal not only with the confusions over the missing person case he was called to London to try to solve, but also his conflict over his love life; does he go for his superior, Cal [...]

    22. Fair solid story of three men from an American agency being seconds to a UK based firm to track down a missing man and the money he's embezzled Josh is the brains of the outfit and for the past 2 years has been having a sort of relationship with someone via the computer who he refers to as Charlie. The team from the UK agency includes Cal - who josh finds himself attracted to.There are lots of twists in the story which at times becomes a little too convoluted and basically makes it appear that t [...]

    23. I loved this story and hope (as its the first in a new series) that we get many more. I adored Josh and Cal and all the guys in the teams, even Dominic, and it had plenty of action that kept me glued to my ereader. One thing I really liked was that I couldn't work out who was behind everything that was going but with so many threads running I never got confused. In the end they all came together in an explosive ending. Highly recommended.

    24. I am convinced it is far better to read an M/M romance which is simple and with little scope but entertaining than having to huff in disappointment at a romance who promised so well and much only to fall short because the author did not take the time to polish it beyond the rough draft stage. If you read this M/M mystery/romance quickly you might just get a little perplexed about the peculiar interaction between the two leads. On my part, I have this talent of detecting inconsistencies, even if t [...]

    25. Let me start by saying this is by far my most favorite read from Sue Brown! It’s got romance, mystery, suspense and the writing is just simply sublime! The characters in this story are dynamic, vibrant and very easy to picture in your head.I super loved Josh’s character! He’s smart, witty, cocky and just all-around adorable! I loved his voice and the way the author showed different facet of his character. He’s definitely one of my favorite characters this year! Then there’s the big, alph [...]

    26. Morning My Angel (Angel Enterprises #1) by Sue BrownJoshua Andrew (Josh) Cooper is sent to London on a mission. Jonathan Michaels has gone missing alongside millions of dollars. His employer, CDR security firm, is in jeopardy because some of that money was theirs, which explains why Josh and his team, Landry and Gill Grover -- the twins -- are taking a rescue mission instead of their usual security detail.Josh has a two-year computer love affair with Charlie - a pseudonym for his love interest - [...]

    27. Josh Cooper is a US security field agent. Intelligent and sexy, he’s also a smart aleck who’s addicted to coffee. He has a roving eye, or did, until he fell for the mysterious “Charlie” whom he developed a “relationship” with through texts. Charlie works at the same firm and won’t reveal his identity. When Josh and his team are sent to London on a special assignment, Josh meets Cal. At first, he thinks Cal is a stick in the mud, but that changes fairly quickly. Josh is torn between [...]
