    1. Fascinating. I had some difficulty picking out the images that the text described, since this illustration style is different than what I am used to, but I bet kids and their spongy brains would be just fine. This is much better for a one-on-one read than trying to manage it with multiple children.

    2. The colours, details and stories captured in the illustrations are incredible! Love the format too, definitely kept my mind gushing for more.

    3. Fold out book about a village that is preparing for a feast. Fold out the pages to learn more as you look at the illustrations. When it's fully folded out you see the whole picture. Chitrakar adds an interactive element in asking readers to search and find details. Chitrakar explains that the book is the Bengal Patua style of scroll painting and shows the indigenous Santhal people's culture.
