    1. Interesting readI enjoyed this book and finished it in one day. I had never read a zombie book before and liked the authors take on it. At times it felt like the second or third book in a series instead of the first, which bothered me a bit. Also the formatting was a little off; although, it might just be that way since I read it on my phone. I like that even though it's a series the end was wrapped up enough to feel finished. I hate cliff endings and will stop reading a series that has them. I [...]

    2. Review of Moms against ZombiesWhen it comes to zombies, it turns out I prefer the funny campy zombies. This story is grounded in more reality than any zombie book I’ve read.Moms against Zombies is a complex tale of various families dealing with something out of the twilight zone: real Zombies are invading the country and multiplying in horrific speed. So the various families try to move to a more isolated place to survive the apocalypse. While some believed it a hoax, hired actors dressed as zo [...]

    3. I love a good zombie book, and throw in two kick ass moms it makes for a good read. There are two occurring stories in this book, one following Emma and her newborn son Pierce getting the call from her military husband to leave the city and head to Nana & Pop in the mountains and the other following Trish her kids and her husband Cooper, who seems to be more than meets the eye job wise - you think he is just some IT guy, but as the story progresses you soon realise that he has some kind of se [...]

    4. Starting off, I will say that the formatting of this book's Kindle edition almost put me off on reading it. There are line spaces in the middle of sentences. It did make the novel hard to read.Moms Against Zombies is told in multiple POVs (first and third person). This wrecked the flow of the story as it felt as if Morgan could not decide a point of view. There are jumps between the chapters. For example, there is Chapter 1 which is followed by Chapter 2. Then the story jumps to Chapter Six and [...]

    5. Emma Jackson is a new mom at the doctor’s office when she first realizes something is wrong when she sees her first zombie. Emma doesn’t realize that she is seeing a zombie all she knows is that she has to get her baby to safety before they are attacked. Emma doesn’t realizes that she was seeing a zombie until she gets a call from her husband who is in the army who gives her a call and tells her to take their son and go to Nana and Pop’s in the mountains. Nana and Pop’s place is good d [...]

    6. Kindle Unlimited but heard about it in one of my facebook groups AND it was on freebie day.Emma Jackson is an army wife and new mom with all the uncertainties that come with it… until that fear is pushed in a different direction. Instead of worrying about diapers and feeding schedules, her only objective is to keep her child alive after being chased by a man who looks entirely too dead. Trish Walsh thought her day was bad when she had to drag all four of her children on an errand, but she reth [...]

    7. So I went into Moms Against Zombies thinking it will be a kick butt book that was action packed and a little like the Walking Dead but with some bad ass moms. Now the moms in this story are bad ass and they get what needs to be done, done. But it isn't as action packed with the zombies as I thought it would be, which this doesn't take away from the story because there is still so much going on and as a mom it all had me in a panic! We have 2 different moms and 2 different stories happening he [...]

    8. I'm not a fan of books that alternate between multiple stories. Because I tend to read in spurts, it just gets to be too many characters too quickly. So I found this one a chore to read. Very little action for the opening of a zombie apocalypse. And not a complete story. Just the first entry in a series. Which I'll not be continuing.

    9. Interesting read with a lot going on with our moms. A little far-fetched at times and hard to follow due to the many characters being introduced.

    10. I'm not one for the overdone zombie apocalypse stories, but the title itself gave me the idea that this one would have a bit of a unique flavor to it. The story is told in 1st Person POV but switches main characters: moms with different backgrounds. This led me to believe that we would be reading a journal type of story from the viewpoint of several different mothers experiencing a zombie takeover in their town, but instead it just jumped between two women. This of course led me to believe that [...]

    11. I wanted to read this book since I read another of Alathia Paris Morgan’s books, Infected Waters: A Titanic Disaster. In Mom’s Against Zombies, we are following two different families as the zombie outbreak begins and the story is told from the perspective of various characters, mainly two of the moms. Some of the characters reactions to an actual zombie apocalypse seemed way more relaxed than I would be, but I think this is a pretty good start to the series and I hope the stories intersect [...]

    12. Love this bookThe title drew me in from first sight and once I started reading it, I wanted more of these moms. Alathia Paris Morgan has created a great apocalyptic beginning and I can't wait to read more from her. This is also a great YA book to keep kids interested in reading . great job. Loved the groups and the humor they have.
