    1. Unicorn Gang Bang Jizzmas Review!3.5 HeartsThis is my second experience with Clare London and I find her sassy and maybe a little be snarky writing style very appealing. Her voice permeates her characters in their witty and sharp dialogue.Frankie and Bill Mason are two such characters and their banter while trapped in the storage room with only crispy Santas, peppermint schnapps and UST to sustain them (for, like, three hours) put a smile on my face. Frankie is femme and swishy to Bill Mason's M [...]

    2. 3.5 HeartsThere’s more than meets the eye and be careful what you wish for… Despite Frankie's crush on his hot boss, the last thing he wants is to be locked in the storage closet with the intimidating Bill Mason. When nervous, Frankie can’t keep his mouth shut nor his energy tamped, and he just knows he’s going to end up looking a fool.Bill is a lot peeved to be trapped, let alone forced to endure Frankie’s polar opposite personality. However, Frankie’s quite ingenious when it comes [...]

    3. 3.5 StarsThe Peppermint Schnapps Predicament is a cute little opposites-attract-in-the-workplace story, wherein a sparkly shop assistant and his stern superior get fortuitously locked in a stockroom together with no way out and no access to immediate aid. I would definitely say I have a proclivity for stories that feature two or more characters locked/stuck in one place together for a prolonged period of time. I’m not sure why this is but I love the truths that often get revealed in these situ [...]

    4. D’awwwwwwwwwOpposites attract done right is what this is. Frankie has been crushing on his hunky boss since he began working at the retail store that Bill Mason’s family owns. They are opposites in every way on the surface, but the best opposites attract stories make their differences complementary and that’s exactly what Frankie and Bill have going on spades. Each is more than the other expected (much more than just their attractive wrappings) and that’s my only niggle with this story. [...]

    5. The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament is a sweet, funny story from Clare. A naughty and nice tale of two men trapped in a storeroom. It made me giggle out loud, especially the peppermint hiccups. A lovely Christmas read, and I'd love to see it as a Christmas short movie.

    6. 3.75 stars rounded upThis one is SO ADORABLE!! I'm happy that we get BOTH perspectives because as a reader, then I know what each man is thinking about the other. I LOVED Frankie -- always feel delighted when reading characters that tend to ramble -- and Bill might started a bit stoic at first but well, he proved me wrong. I enjoyed their short conversation during the time in the closet ^^. It seemed that both men were MORE than they seem in the outside. And that ending is GREAT!So another one I [...]

    7. Describing the mood of this story isn’t difficult: hilarious, adorable, and super cute come to mind. But this is way more than a “fluffy” Christmas story, it’s a tale about two opposite characters discovering, under duress in the storeroom they lock themselves into, that they are actually a lot more compatible than either of them would have thought before their epic encounter.Well, to tell the truth, Frankie has been admiring the stern and commanding Bill from afar for about the year he [...]

    8. A Joyfully Jay review. 3 starsThis story really didn’t do anything for me. Even though the story is broken up into little chapters and Frankie and Bill switch off narration duties, for a big chunk of the middle where they start exploring a physical connection, I admit I couldn’t tell one apart from the other. While Frankie is clearly the hyper-foppish one with “everyone writes me off because I’m so foppish” thoughts, we learn Bill’s got an inner angst streak a mile-wide because “ev [...]

    9. Reviewed on The Blogger GirlsThis was a super cute story! It’s about Frankie, a salesperson at Mason’s Emporium. He knows absolutely everything there is to know about Mason’s Emporium and he loves his job. Add to that, he has a massive crush on his boss, Bill, who’s his complete opposite. When Bill asks for volunteers for the annual inventory, Frankie jumps at the chance. But while helping, Frankie accidentally locks them in the storeroom with no way out. Thankfully, help is bound to com [...]

    10. Frankie Faraday is hot on the heels of his boss, Bill Mason when they get locked into a storeroom together, presumably for the night. They've both noticed each other, but their positions seem to have kept them apart, until now. This was a story I couldn't stop reading. There are so many laugh out loud moments, but we get to see the inner most qualities and fears of the both Frankie and Bill. I love the moments they share and how they connect and their relationship develops. This is a great read [...]

    11. 4.5*This is my favourite of all the festive treats I've read from Clare London. It's frothy, funny, light and sweet with a premise which works really well to set the romance on.Both characters are solidly developed and have their own unique voice and I loved that we got to see inside both their heads as their predicament got stranger and stranger. There's a lovely epilogue to round this one out and I'd love to read more about this pair as they navigate their way through the retail season!#ARC rec [...]

    12. 4 HeartsSticky sweet and totally intoxicating this was! I loved it. I am a fan of the opposites attract trope and love it when they opposites get each so wrong. I liked that we got both Frankie and Bill’s POV do know exactly what they were thinking about one another and the entire situation. Frankie with his honest crush and Bill pretending he didn’t “see” Frankie when really, he’s all Bill saw. The conversations between the men were meaningful, emotional and so very romantic. The sexy [...]

    13. When I started reading this book I flashed back to when I was a teen and read Harlequin books. This has the same feel to it. You know what I mean, two people secretly pining for each other, neither believing the other is interested. And before they know it they are trapped together in a small room with no way out. It's light hearted, sweet and fun - just like Frankie. Guilty pleasure I'm all yours.A copy of this book was provided in exchange for an honest review

    14. Once again, I feel that this story is a victim to its shortness. If it had been fleshed out a little more, I feel like it would have been more engaging; as it is, I read this about a week ago, and I can't even remember the characters' names or much detail about the story. Two guys get trapped at work inke a storage place? I think? And they have to drink peppermint schnapps or something like that. See what I'm saying?

    15. This here, The Peppermint Schnapps Predicament, is thirty-nine pages worth of seasonal fun that had me either laughing out loud or smiling from start to finish. Frankie and Bill are the ultimate and most joyous proof that opposites do indeed attract.Frankie is totally over the top, which becomes very clear as soon as the story kicks off.“I guess you might say my current predicament is punishment for my sins. What sins? you may ask, amazed that a cute twink like me with such angelic features and [...]

    16. Told in back and forth first person POV, this is the very short story of Frankie Faraday, flamboyant worker at Mason’s Emporium, who has a massive crush on his boss, Bill Mason. “Bill Mason, always strong, steady, and self-disciplined, with a bossy bark to his minions that fair makes my balls clench in ecstatic fright.” Frankie is flighty and unfortunately, unlucky when it comes to following his boss to the storeroom, the door of which locks them in. “And now I’m in The Predicament.” [...]

    17. ~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~I love romantic Christmas novellas, as they bring all the magic and excitement of Christmas to life with plenty of heartwarming passion.I love the visuals that this story creates; the description of the mess in the storeroom is wonderful! The author had (I hope) a lot of fun with these two men, the alliteration, the obvious building lust, even in the dark, and a really clever twist to ensure that we get the story we want [...]

    18. Here’s one for everyone who has ever fancied their boss. This is a cute, sweet, and kinda sexy holiday short story about a not-so-chance encounter between a sales assistant and his boss in a store cupboard. Frankie is probably the most eager sales assistant anywhere. Ever. His workplace enthusiasm is only really tolerable because he is also charming. And cute. His boss, Bill, is slightly less cheerful and much less excited about his job. But he’s also pretty cute.Trapped in a storeroom, Bill [...]

    19. 3.5 StarsA I love a Christmas Romance that makes me go aw This is a fun locked in a store room with your crush romance. I haven't loved some of the books that I have read by Clare London but this one hits a lot of happy notes for me.

    20. A cute story of two guys locked in a storage closet. I like when there is a bit of an expected reversal. The suave businessman boss who wants to be a florist and the business smart twink who wants to climb the corporate ladder. A fun little story.

    21. ARC provided by the publisher through Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words in exchange for an impartial review. What happens when the flamboyant (and alliterative) Frankie Faraday finally finds his boss in the storeroom at the end of annual inventory? Not much until both men freak out when the lights go out and the door accidentally locks behind them, leaving them alone in the building because Bill, the boss, had told the others they could leave. Frankie is ever resourceful, however, and fearing s [...]

    22. Review can be read at It's About The BookOf all the Christmas stories I read this season this one did seem the naughtiest. After all most of it does take place with two guys attracted to each other locked in a store room. Frankie has the hots for his boss Bill. Bill is the son of the owner of the Department store Frankie works for. It’s not really Bill’s dream to manage a store but his father has made it his duty. Frankie is excellent at his job but he doesn’t exactly have the qualificatio [...]

    23. Clare London is always a tried and true go-to author when I’m looking for a story infused with humor and English charm, and her contribution to this year’s Advent Calendar anthology has both as well as a wee sip of holiday sweet. The obvious limitations of the short page count didn’t allow for backstory or a deeper character exploration, which is unfortunate when I took such an immediate liking to these blokes. But, alas, theirs is simply a cute slice-of-life scene, a fun snippet designed t [...]

    24. One look at Bill Mason, and the average person would see a young, successful business man committed to making a difference in his father's store. But there's more to it than that, and Frankie gets more than an earful when they get locked in the storeroom together. The concept of this story pulled me in and I was sold. However, the story didn't quite go as I thought it would. With such a short story, only 39 pages, it's difficult to capture the emotion between two characters and sell a love-story [...]

    25. I loved Frankie. The story was nice and them as a couple were good, but Frankie sort of stole the show with that little stun at the beginning. How could he even did that?, and still felt like something that could happened. He win my heart, so fun.It was great to see how they would manage the situation they got themselves into. They were an odd couple but it, somehow, worked just fine. I like Frankie so much more than Bill. It wasn’t that Bill was not likable, but Frankie was so charming that w [...]

    26. 4.5 Stars!!!Frankie Faraday and Bill Mason couldn't be more different if they tried, or at least that's what they both think until they are locked together in a storeroom while doing inventory. This book was nothing like I imagined it would be when I started reading and truly for a short book, it packed enough story that I was left satisfied that Bill and Frankie could actually make it in the long run. They were both so different from the personas they presented to others and it was nice that the [...]

    27. A lighthearted holiday story, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Frankie Faraday (loved his character), and his boss, Bill, spend some time locked in a storeroom together. Both have totally the wrong idea about one another. Frankie is not the flibbertigibbet people consider him to be. He has plans. His sales are good and he has great ideas for the store. He and Bill totally open up to each other, whilst locked in the storeroom, with the help of some peppermint schnapps. Frankie is so funny and likeable, [...]

    28. 4.25 starsI enjoyed this cute holiday story. Frankie and Bill are both laboring under misconceptions about each other that get slowly cleared up as they spend time locked in a storeroom together.Frankie is not the flighty person he tends to show people. He knows what the customers of the store want and his sales show that. His nervous talking was a blessing as he helps Bill relax and open up about himself. As Bill opens up, he becomes more likable. You can't help but hope these two make things w [...]

    29. 3.8 StarsA funny, quirky, sexy little holiday tale. At first I found Frankie's rambling a bit OTT, but much like he did Bill, the guy's personality was infectious and grew on me. Sometimes I want to stab people with that much positivity in the eye, but Frankie was written so genuinely sweet that it was hard to keep up that level of irritation. There was more to this "silly" twink that meets the eye and I kinda loved the way he just embraced everything, and how he was so supportive of Bill's true [...]
