    1. This book consists of chapters written by different authors on confluent education and Gestalt in the classroom. Confluent education is an attempt to use both cognitive and affective aspects in teaching. Having worked with early childhood, they simply do not learn if they are not engaged. The book has lots of wonderful ideas on bringing the two together; however, I am now retired and will most likely not be using these ideas in the future.
