    1. Lily's Purple Plastic Purse is a perfect example of the impact the teacher's have on children. I love the way the teacher was not offended by the mean drawing and gave Lily and chance to make a choice about what to do with it. Children can be impatient and the way the teacher takes the purse and put it away shows that we have to use thoughtful ways to discipline children.Learning extension: Great literacy lesson in this story.     3. This a wonderful story about awareness for others feeling, It covers great teachers who provide creative outlets for the kids and inspire them to want to teach.

    4. I like all of these. Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse is probably my favorite one. Some are a bit repetitive, but overall, interesting stories with good morals.

    5. I love Kevin Henkes' little mice and their precocious personalities. I could read these books to my daughter all day.

    6. This book was about a young girl who had an imaginary friend named Jessica. Jessica went everywhere and did everything with her. It was time for the little girl to start Kindergarten and at first it was a hard adjustment for her because she was so set on just having her imaginary friend Jessica.
