    1. One knows clearly that this is a fictional adventure. However it is chock full of excellent detail based on good research about the warrior culture of the Comanche in the heyday of the Comancheria.

It's about a Spanish teen, Pedro, that is unfairly exiled from Spain along with his family & they move to Mexico (though nowadays we call that area the SouthWest of the USA).
