    1. "I may say that I have in my possession all of Old Paris”eaustralian/arts/"Photographer Eugene Atget captured old Paris as it disappeared"imaging-resource/news/The obsessive eye of Eugène Atget: Master photographer’s images of “Old Paris” still resonate

    2. While I appreciate his role in history, I'm not a big fan of Atget's work. His documentary style is done with a whole lot of artistic depth, but overall his are mostly images of objects that I personally don't find all that interesting. His photographs are remarkable in their execution - both the size of his work and the care given to the technical side. There are definitely a good amount of wonderful pictures in this sample, but Atget just isn't to my taste.
